about Hair's Karen
Established in 1992 . Hair's Karen is a full servivce hair salon specializing in cutting men, woman, and children. Providing services such as keratin treatment, blow outs, hair extentions, facial waxing, coloring, highlights/foils, and balayages. We are also known for our special occastion styles and wedding styles.
KAREN
A graduate from the Medford Vocational Technical High School. After 5 short years working as a stylist in West Medford, at the age of 23 Karen opened her own salon. Since 1992 Hair's Karen is still thriving due to her loyal clientele and dedication to them and the salon. Karen is still keeping up with what is new in the hair industry and offering it to her clients. Her Certifications include Deva Cuts, Hair Extentions, Kratin Treatments, Barbicide, Olaplex, and she has completed a course in Eyes on Cancer. Karen has created a salon with a comfortable atmosphere that is both fun and professional.
JENNIFER
Jennifer started her career at Hair's Karen in 1992 upon our opening. She is a graduate from the Medford Vocational Technical High School. She is certified in Barbicede and Keratin Treatments. She also completed a course in Eyes on Cancer! Jennifer is committed to her clients and enjoys creating the perfect style just for you! Whether it is cutting, coloring, or getting a client ready for a special occasion with Jennifer's confidence and expertise you can be sure she will take care of all your hair care needs!
LAURIE
A graduate of the New England Hair Academy in Malden. Laurie then went on to get her certification in Barbicide, Keratin Treatments and Hair Extensions. Laurie has been a stylist at Hair's Karen since 2001. Her multi talents include coloring, foiling and cutting. Laurie is well versed in all our services that we offer at Hair's Karen. She completes every style with her personal touch. Laurie always leaves her clients with a great look and a big smile!
HEATHER
Meet Heather. Formally of Salon Fabiano for ten years, Heather joined our team in 2013! She received her education at Blaine Beauty School in Malden. Heather has mastered a wide range of hair techniques including cutting, Keratin, hair extensions, and threading, however her passion is hair color. Heather also believes in continual education and is up to date with new products and services available so she can provide excellent service for her clients. NICOLE
Nicole joined our team in 2016. She received her education at the Medford Vocational Technical High School. After graduation She attended classes to further her education in the field. Nicole received many certifications inluding Keratin Treatments,Barbicide, Deva Cuts, Hair Extensions, and Coloring. Nicole is a pure natural when it comes to balayage and highlighting . CONNIE
Connie has been part of the Hair's Karen Team since 2016. She has over 30 years experience! She attended Wilfred Beauty Academy in Boston. Connie worked 14 years at Shear Elegance which became Nicholas Call! There she was known for her amazing talents and her loyalty! Her many certifications include Barbicide, Cutting, Goldwell color, and Keratin. If you have met Connie you know how warm and caring she is to all and goes the extra mile to make you feel special and look fantastic!
JESSICA
Jessica started in 2017 Like many of our staff Jessica is a graduate of Medford Vocational Techincal High School. She is certified in Barbicide, Keratin Treatments, and Hair Extentions which is one of her many passions. Jessica has everything it takes to be a amazing stylist, personality, ambition and most of all talent!!
